Women's Bible Study

ICM Pantry Day
Women's Ministries sponsors the collection of non-perishable food and non-food items on the first Sunday of each month to benefit Interfaith Caring Ministries. ICM provides a full range of services to people in need in the Clear Lake area. Our drive helps supply the items needed to stock their pantry. Suggested items for each month are listed in the BACC newsletter. You may also donate through the offering by designating "ICM Pantry" on the memo line of your check.

Express Yourself!
"Express Yourself!" is for your creative side, so bring your crocheting, scrapbooking, knitting, or painting supplies--whatever you enjoy, or join the quilting group for fellowship on any of the days your schedule allows. Express Yourself!" is held each month on the first and second Sundays (from 1:00-3:30 p.m.) in Education Building 1. Contact Tracey Peterson with any questions.

Quilting Ministry
The Quilting Ministry is an outreach of Women's Ministries and meets along with "Express Yourself!"on the first and second Sundays (from 1:00-3:30 p.m.) of each month in Education Building 1. The quilt tops they make are given to another group to be quilted, and then the finished quilts are donated to Boys & Girls Harbor in La Porte. Each child coming to live at the Harbor is given one of these quilts with his/her own name on it. Contact Tracey Peterson with any questions. Missions Project

Located in Oklahoma, Cookson Hills Christian Ministries provides a loving, Christian environment for children who cannot live with their parents for a variety of reasons. Strong educational and vocational programs are provided as well. The BACC women support this ministry by collecting labels to help with the purchase of needed items such as vans, computers, school supplies, etc. Useable labels include Campbell's Labels for Education, Tyson Project A+, Box Tops for Education, Franco-American, Pepperidge Farm, Pace, V8 products, Prego, and Swanson. Brochures with complete information are available from Naomi Bookout in the church office and on the shelf on the wall in the entrance to EB1.
