New Worship Times

 As a family, Bay Area Christian Church has committed to being "A Growing Community Becoming Like Jesus."  We want to grow in numbers but more than that we want to help people become more and more like Jesus.  Our belief is that becoming more like Jesus means continually surrendering to what we are learning about Jesus.  The result will be a life that impacts the lives and relationships of those around us in a positive way.  Arguably one of the most ambitious goals of our mission is nurturing the local church family.
     To help fulfill our mission, we are going to make some adjustments to our current schedule.  Starting on September 12th, there will be an additional service.  Sunday Morning Growth Groups will be held during both services.  Here is the new schedule: 
     First service:  9:00-10:10
     Fellowship:  10:10-10:35
     Second service:  10:35-11:45
     While any change will create some disruption at first, adding a service can provide a wonderful, refreshing climate for growth of all sorts, both individually and as a family.  I hope you will carefully read over the enclosed material to learn more about this exciting opportunity for each of us.  Many of the common questions will be answered.  However, if you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact me or any of the elders by phone or email.
     With this new format, we have the opportunity to deepen our impact in our community, enlarge our ministry to our regular attendees and engage those without a church family.

We hope you'll join us this Sunday to see for yourself what we're about. Through contemporary music and practical messages, we present the ageless truths of the Bible in a format that's easy to understand, even if you've never been to church. Together, we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible — a church with relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we'd like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time. We meet Sundays for Growth Groups at 9:00 am and Worship at 10:30 am.

We are conveniently located at 14550 Highway 3 between Clear Lake City Boulevard and Pineloch. From I-45, exit Clear Lake City Boulevard and travel east. Turn right on Highway 3.
